3rd Annual Some Gave All 5K

To all Guardsmen, Guard Families and Supporters of our Citizen Soldiers!

We are proud to announce our 3rd Annual 5 K in Lula, Georgia on 12 May 2012 at 1700. This race was started in memory of MAJ Kevin Jenrette, KIA Afghanistan on 4 Jun 2009. It is not only an opportunity to fellowship with our Guard family and thank the Jenrette family and all of our Military members for their sacrifice, but it is a way for you to give back to our Soldiers and Airmen as 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation!!

We have a FLAT course this year!! We also have great entertainment for the little ones.

We will also be conducting a balloon release in memory of your loved ones.

This is such a beautiful event at the start of our race. Information on how to purchase tickets for the balloon release are shown below  Please pass along to your traditional drilling Soldiers and Airmen to allow them an opportunity to support.

Our Write to Congress feature is the best tool for contacting your elected officials via email. Just follow the link, enter your zip code in the space provided and you will immediately be connected to a page that lists your representatives. Create your own message or use one of our preformatted letters that can also be edited to your own liking, fill in the “Sender Information” (required so the legislator knows you are a constituent), and send your message. It’s as simple as that!
